KEY ACTIVITIES
- Process all logistics activities as directed by management, coordinated by the team, ensuring timely and cost-efficient execution, including prompt responses to invoicing queries.
- Coordinate, process, and track import/export orders; expedite vendors as needed.
- Obtain freight quotations and services through bidding, aiming to reduce costs via an internal bid table process.
- Maintain electronic job files and archiving systems.
- Review costs regularly and negotiate with suppliers for preferential rates.
- Report KPIs monthly, focusing on job margins and on-time delivery.
- Manage and update the approved vendor list, including vendor qualification processes.
- Develop strong vendor relationships.
- Ensure logistical services are maintained for external suppliers, with containers available according to schedules and space on vessels.
- Implement and update customs and trade compliance processes, providing awareness sessions to relevant staff.
- Maintain import/export logs for audit readiness and compliance.
- Keep company logs and trackers for real-time visibility of logistical movements across departments.
- Support procurement, inventory, and inventory counts as needed.
- Liaise with workshop staff for prompt receipt and dispatch of goods.
- Provide logistical support and advice to TAQA Well Completions global teams.
- Perform other departmental tasks as instructed by supervision or management.
INDIVIDUAL QHSE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Follow company QHSE policies, operational procedures, and risk assessments.
- Report any non-conformances or faults in service or management systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential: Secondary education standard.
Preferred: Relevant auditing course, knowledge of sanctions.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years in a logistics role.
- Experience with global shipments.
- Understanding of Incoterms.
- Proficient in price negotiation, logistics, and order planning.
- Ability to utilize resources effectively, plan, control, and take responsibility.
- Knowledge of import/export controls.
- Experience with trade agreements and certificates of origin.
- Proficiency in IT tools, especially Outlook and Excel.
Preferred:
- Experience in purchasing and logistics within a global oil service company.
- Familiarity with ERP systems like Epicor E10 and SAP.
- Experience with shipping Dangerous Goods (e.g., chemicals, batteries).
