Job description

Our client has several offices across Somerset & Dorset. They provide a wide range of legal services to both individuals and business customers.

On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join their established, busy, and expanding Property team, you may be based from either Bridgwater or Yeovil.

The Role:

You will be an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor and will work with a diverse range of clients, including agricultural businesses, commercial landlords, and developers, in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will handle a variety of matters, including commercial property acquisitions and disposals, leasehold matters, landlord and tenant and development work. The role provides an excellent opportunity for you to further develop your career while gaining exposure to interesting and varied work.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload, supporting clients through the process. Your ability to network and grow your own client base will be vital to your success in this role.

Skills and Experience required:

  1. A qualified Solicitor with 2-3 years PQE in Commercial Property law.
  2. Experience in agriculture or a keen interest would be advantageous.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  4. A proactive, detail-orientated individual who thrives in a small, growing team.
  5. Able to manage a varied caseload and work autonomously.
  6. Ambitious with an interest in contributing to the growth and development of the team and company.
