Brief Description

The post holder will analyze and develop the Digital Railway Programme's business processes to improve information flow supporting the Programme's requirements. The role involves developing data repositories, applying logical methodologies, and driving performance improvements through analytics and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as design authority, developing and deploying processes to support information flow.
  2. Develop comprehensive requirements specifications for implementation.
  3. Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  4. Analyze current processes and identify efficiency improvements.
  5. Design and document new business processes based on impact analysis.
  6. Contribute to planning, reporting, and risk management.
  7. Provide impact analysis for proposed changes.
  8. Promote best practices in tools and processes.
  9. Design relational data warehouses for reporting.
  10. Influence stakeholders to unify system development and reporting approaches.
  11. Challenge project planning and performance.
  12. Maintain process documentation and knowledge transfer strategies.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Essential
  • Experience in reviewing and editing requirements, stakeholder management, and facilitation.
  • Proven ability to define and deliver enterprise-level business processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and remotely.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, Azure, Fabric, Power BI, and VBA.
Desirable
  • Qualifications in Agile, ISEB, or Project Management.
  • Understanding of railway industry processes.
  • Ability to influence finance and commercial teams.
  • Strategic and detailed planning skills.
