We are currently working with a leading professional services firm in South Manchester who are looking to bring in an experienced Tax Manager to join their growing private client team.

You'll be working with a varied client base of business owners, high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and trusts/estates.

In your new role you'll be responsible for the following:

• Working closely with the private client partner and wider team, managing your own client portfolio and acting as a go-to client contact.
• Supporting with a range of compliance needs and associated documentation, regularly liaising with HMRC.
• Getting involved in a range of tax planning and advisory needs.
• Helping to run the team and offering guidance to more junior staff members across the firm as you develop.

What are we looking for?

• Personal tax/private client experience working for a UK accountancy firm.
• Ideally CTA qualified; however, we will also consider ATT and ACA/ACCA qualifications.
• Experience running a personal tax compliance portfolio.
• Tax advisory and planning experience is desirable.
