A mental health organization is looking for two Facilitators for their Eating Recovery Service in Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds. The role involves facilitating group sessions and providing one-to-one support for individuals with eating disorders. Ideal candidates will have experience in mental health and possess strong communication skills, contributing to a supportive environment for service users.
Job Description
Suffolk Mind’s mission is to make Suffolk the best place in the world for talking about and taking care of mental health, and to assist with this we are looking to recruit two Facilitators for our Eating Recovery Service.
Our Eating recovery service will support adults those who identify as having an eating disorder, or disordered eating. Our team provide assessment leading on to group, and one to one support. Our approach combines psychoeducational, nutrition and CBT interventions to offer a holistic approach.
In this role, you will provide emotional and practical support which will enable service users to meet their emotional needs and achieve personal growth. You will need to facilitate group sessions, provide one to one focus work and be a positive face for Eating Recovery in either:
