  1. Conducting specialist eating disorder assessments within the Community Eating Disorder Service for Children & Young People (CEDS-CYP).
  2. Acting as the duty clinician on the rota, managing referrals, and providing rapid responses to urgent clinical situations.

  4. Providing specialist therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based and NICE-concordant practices.
  5. Developing and delivering early intervention support pathways, including consultation, psychoeducation, and self-help materials.
  6. Managing a substantial caseload of assessments, treatments, and consultations, prioritizing actions in complex cases.
  7. Managing and communicating with patients, families, carers, and agencies in sensitive and complex situations.
  8. Evaluating and monitoring clinical risks, including physical and psychiatric risks, to inform interventions and coordinate with other agencies.

Our mission is to make a positive difference by improving quality of life. We value care, respect, and inclusivity, and seek individuals who embody these qualities in supporting service users, carers, colleagues, and partner organizations.

The East London Community Eating Disorders Service (CEDS) is multidisciplinary, including therapies, medical, nursing, dietetics, support workers, and administrative staff. Our team covers Tower Hamlets, Newham, and City & Hackney.
