Job Overview
The Adult Day Programme provides care and treatment to patients who are working on recovery from an eating disorder addressing patients’ physical and mental health needs.
Patients attend in person, 4 days a week for intensive recovery focused treatment and 1 day remotely for reviews with the MDT. Patients engage in a full group programme and have supported meals as part of the daily structure. Patients are community patients and chose to attend treatment, working with the team to support their full engagement in the programme.
The day programme provides a step up to support to avoid inpatient being required or as a step down to support earlier discharge from inpatient beds. The successful candidate will work as part of our specialised multidisciplinary team to provide effective, evidence-based and holistic patient-centred care.
Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for carrying out practical tasks, including physical monitoring, supported meals and facilitating groups, identified as part of the patient’s care plan. The post holder will receive clinical supervision as appropriate and partake in reflective practice/training on a regular basis.
The successful applicant may have contact with patients or service users. As an NHS Trust we strongly encourage and support vaccination as this remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course patients and service users when working on our healthcare settings.
