Job description

As the Eastern Hemisphere Certification Lead, you will oversee the delivery of certification services supporting the global ISE Operations and Aftermarket functions. Your technical expertise will be applied to compile certification packages in accordance with orders and relevant regulatory and customer requirements. This role involves ensuring full compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations, which may include coordinating with Third-Party inspectors to secure necessary release certifications such as CoC, ROE, or Attestation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a team based across the Eastern Hemisphere.
  2. Engage in process improvement initiatives and identify potential enhancements to maintain cost-effectiveness.
  3. Manage certification output and schedule tasks accordingly.
  4. Oversee documentation from ISE Ops, suppliers, and the warehouse for each order.
  5. Coordinate workload with production schedules.
  6. Review certification documentation from ISE Ops, suppliers, and third parties during the compilation of documentation packs.
  7. Compile product certification packs, including duties like scanning, typing, and printing.
  8. Ensure certification packs comply with customer, regulatory, and company policies.
  9. Facilitate product release and certification delivery to customers via the certification portal.
  10. Collaborate with Aftermarket, operations, and QA staff to resolve documentation issues.
  11. Initiate and address CAPA/NCRs related to product certification with support from the Cell Leader.
  12. Coordinate with third-party and customer inspectors for product certification and sign-off, optimizing onsite time.
  13. Archive documentation per company policies and procedures.
  14. Adhere to statutory and regulatory safety and environmental requirements.
  15. Travel as needed based on business demands.

  • Experience managing a team.
  • Ability to assess and apply technical information and specifications, understanding their impact on certification and order processing.
  • Problem-solving skills with effective solution identification.
  • Quick learner capable of adapting to new challenges and acquiring new skills efficiently.
  • Strong judgment in decision-making, considering business risks and mitigation actions.
  • Ability to define, improve, and operate within business processes.
  • Capability to recommend and implement departmental improvements and manage workload distribution effectively.
  • Willingness to support colleagues by providing information and removing obstacles.
  • Strong internal and external customer focus.
