Working Hours

Constellation optimizes the schedules of Compass employees, helping you work at over 5,000 venues across the UK on shifts that suit you. Typical shifts for Catering Assistants are Monday to Friday during days, with sites operating from 07:30-14:30, 08:00-16:00, or 11:00-19:30, depending on the site and requirements.

Main Responsibilities for Catering Assistants

• Be polite, prompt, and friendly to colleagues and guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to ensure smooth service.
• Follow guidance and procedures from the lead chef and/or room manager to ensure team efficiency.
• Take pride in your work and adhere to team standards.
• Seek to improve your knowledge, skills, and personal performance.
• Comply with all company policies regarding Health & Safety, Food Safety, Allergens, Hygiene, Manual Handling, and COSHH.
• Take responsibility for your own health and safety.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
