- Act as a place-based system lead for hospital flow and discharge governance.
- Support the UEC system through winter pressures as a senior decision maker.
- Lead the mobilisation of ICB Physical Capacity Funding schemes for 2025/26.
Responsibilities
- Act as a place-based system lead for hospital flow and discharge governance, working closely with senior system partners to deliver an established improvement programme.
- Support the UEC system through winter pressures, and to act as a senior escalation point and decision maker.
- Cross-organisational working to lead the mobilisation of ICB Physical Capacity Funding schemes for 2025/26, including ward based reablement.
- Working at a senior level with system partners to develop alternative pathways for intermediate care.
- Overseeing the delivery of several high-profile ASC transformation projects already underway, including the reablement transformation programme, front-door transformation and strengths-based practice implementation.
- Overseeing the delivery of remaining savings from the 2025/26 MTFS schemes aligned to OPD.
- Leading and influencing wider improvement work - guided by the Transformation and Improvement Board (NTIB) and the Practice Improvement Board (PIB).
- Leading service-level responses to the pending CQC outcome and associated improvement actions.
- Ensuring good operational performance is maintained and delivery against departmental KPIs.
- Providing support to the Principal OT to review future models to manage OT demand.
