Job description

Occupational Health Adviser (OHA) - East London

Workplace Doctors is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Adviser to join an established team in East London. The successful candidate will provide effective services and advice on work-related issues and health surveillance programs.

Position Details:

  • Type: Full-time, fixed-term or permanent
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, with occasional cover until 6:00pm
  • Location: East London
  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small onsite team including OHN, OHA, Physio, and OHT
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care programs
  • Work with management to meet organizational objectives
  • Develop and monitor training plans for junior staff
  • Establish and lead a new wellbeing program for the business

Skills and Experience:

  • Full OH remit, including case management, fit for work medicals, health surveillance, and health promotion
  • Experience in sickness absence management and wellbeing initiatives
  • UK driving license and own vehicle
  • Post-registration experience in various settings
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and professional development skills

Essential Requirements:

  • NMC Registration (Nursing & Midwifery Council)
  • Registered General Nurse
  • Part 3 of the NMC register
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Good clinical knowledge
