Your Role

As a Senior Engineer, you’ll lead the full lifecycle of earthing design projects from inception through to completion. You’ll be a trusted technical expert, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and delivering technically demanding HV earthing projects independently
Managing client relationships and ensuring project delivery is aligned with technical and commercial expectations
Mentoring and supporting Design, Assistant and Graduate Engineers
Conducting advanced earthing studies using CDEGS software (MALZ, MALT, RESAP, HI-FREQ, FCDIST, TRALIN)
Leading site-based engineering assessments and investigations
Reviewing and authorising reports and drawings, offering high-level feedback
Chairing design meetings with internal teams and external clients
Advising on complex studies including impressed voltage and lightning protection assessments

What We’re Looking For

Demonstrable experience in HV earthing design, ideally in the power or utilities sector
Strong working knowledge of the CDEGS suite and complex earthing assessment methods
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues alike
Proven ability to lead technical design teams and support project delivery end-to-end
A hands-on, proactive attitude and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions
