Job summary

Bradford Pharmacy is seeking a friendly, motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community team in Bradford. You will learn on the job while completing the Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, with full training and support provided.

You will engage with customers, handle medicines queries, assist with prescriptions, manage stock, and help maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the pharmacy. No prior pharmacy experience required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C / 4-9) or equivalent; course can provide Maths/English if needed.
• No pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Complete Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside role.
• Commitment to contracted hours and blended learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health and safety, and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
