Job summary

GTG Training invites applications for an Apprentice Autocare Technician at an independent garage. The program combines full-time workshop work with hands-on training, allowing you to earn while you learn and progress toward IMI qualifications.

Based in Billingshurst, the apprenticeship offers dedicated mentors, block-release training at GTG Wolverhampton, and a pathway to Level 2 Autocare Technician or Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician.

Qualifications

• GCSE-level maths, English and science/technical subject or equivalent.
• Candidate should be keen to learn and proactive in a workshop setting.
• Ability to manage time and meet learning/timeline targets during the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Based in the garage workshop, learn all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Gain experience in servicing, MOT preparation, removal, replacement and diagnostics.
• Attend block release training weeks and apply skills in the workplace under mentors.
