Location: Covering Liverpool, Wirral, and Wigan

Role Overview

We’re seeking a dedicated Early Years Skills Coach/Tutor to inspire and support apprentices working towards their qualifications. Your responsibilities will include delivering dynamic training sessions, providing one-to-one coaching, and assessing learner progress to ensure success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver engaging group training sessions, including inductions.
  2. Support apprentices through coaching and workplace visits.
  3. Assess and give feedback on portfolios.
  4. Deliver English and maths Functional Skills up to Level 2.
  5. Monitor progress, set targets, and help learners achieve goals.
  6. Maintain high attendance, retention, and achievement rates.
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum two years’ recent experience in Early Years.
  • Experience training learners aged 16+ and adults.
  • Passion for coaching, mentoring, and supporting apprentices.
  • Level 3 Teaching Qualification (or willing to obtain within six months).
  • TAQA or equivalent assessor qualification (or willing to obtain within six months).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Full driving license and access to a car, as the role is peripatetic.
