Job summary

Acorn Training Ltd is recruiting to deliver high-quality teaching, training, coaching and assessment across Early Years programmes in South Yorkshire. The postholder will support learners to achieve successful outcomes with tailored, engaging and compliant learning experiences.

The role includes planning, delivery, assessment and learner support aligned to sector, funding and awarding organisation requirements, ensuring safeguarding and high-quality IAG throughout the learner journey.

Qualifications

• Level 5 subject specialist qualification is essential.
• CAVA and AET qualifications are required.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C are essential.
• Valid driving licence and access to vehicle insurance are essential.
• BA in subject area is desirable.
• IQA and CET qualifications are desirable.
• IOSH Health and Safety at Work qualification is desirable.
• First Aid at Work qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching, training, coaching and assessment to a caseload of learners.
• Design and deliver learning across face-to-face, online and hybrid models.
• Undertake initial assessments and plan personalised learning.
• Plan training sessions aligned to sector standards and funding requirements.
• Collaborate with employers to develop progression-focused training plans.
• Provide IAG and progression guidance throughout the learner journey.
• Ensure comprehensive induction programmes and safeguarding compliance.
• Develop learning strategies and resources to support progress.
• Record and track learner progression and maintain accurate records.
