Qualifications

Join our friendly and supportive education supply agency as an Early Years Teaching Assistant, and work in a variety of welcoming primary schools across Manchester!



We are looking for nurturing, enthusiastic, and reliable Early Years Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Nursery, Reception, and Key Stage 1. You'll work closely with class teachers to help deliver engaging activities, support learning through play, and provide 1:1 or group support where needed.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting the development of children's language, motor skills, and social interaction

  • Assisting with phonics, early maths, and creative play-based learning

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional well-being

  • Helping with toileting, changing, and mealtime routines (if required)

  • Creating a warm, inclusive, and safe classroom environment



What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with young children in a school, nursery, or childcare setting

  • A calm, caring, and patient approach

  • A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills



Desirable but not essential:

  • Level 2 or 3 Early Years/Teaching Assistant qualification

  • Paediatric First Aid or Safeguarding training

  • Experience with SEND or speech & language support
