Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking Early Years Teaching Assistants to support nurseries and schools across Middlesbrough. Whether you are experienced or starting out, join a team that values caring, enthusiasm and safeguarding in a busy educational setting.

Roles include supporting learning in Nursery/Reception, assisting teachers with engaging activities, and helping children grow confidence and independence. DBS checks and Level 2–4 qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2, Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (preferred).
• Experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool or school setting.
• Demonstrates energy, patience and a positive attitude daily.
• Understands safeguarding and child development; enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to apply.

What you'll be doing

We're looking for someone who

• Brings energy, patience and a positive attitude every day
• Understands the importance of safeguarding and child development
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is happy to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
