We’re recruiting two qualified and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistants (Level 3) to join the Early Years Foundation Stage team at a well-regarded independent school in the heart of Newcastle.
These are full-time, permanent roles starting this September, ideal for someone who brings warmth, creativity, and energy into every corner of the classroom.

What you’ll be doing:
Supporting the class teacher in delivering a rich, engaging EYFS curriculum
Leading small group activities and supporting key learning areas
Observing and recording children’s progress, supporting with planning
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school team
Ensuring every child feels safe, happy, and included
What we’re looking for:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
Previous experience in a nursery or EYFS setting
A nurturing, playful approach to learning
Excellent communication and teamworking skills
A genuine passion for early childhood development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
