We’re recruiting two qualified and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistants (Level 3) to join the Early Years Foundation Stage team at a well-regarded independent school in the heart of Newcastle.

These are full-time, permanent roles starting this September, ideal for someone who brings warmth, creativity, and energy into every corner of the classroom.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering a rich, engaging EYFS curriculum

  • Leading small group activities and supporting key learning areas

  • Observing and recording children’s progress, supporting with planning

  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school team

  • Ensuring every child feels safe, happy, and included

What we’re looking for:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent

  • Previous experience in a nursery or EYFS setting

  • A nurturing, playful approach to learning

  • Excellent communication and teamworking skills

  • A genuine passion for early childhood development
