Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: North Edgbaston, Birmingham B16
Day Rate: (Apply online only)
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

Are you a passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant with experience in Nursery or Reception? We're working with a welcoming primary school that's ready to offer a long-term opportunity to someone who truly understands how to support young learners in their earliest school years.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a nurturing environment and has the hands-on experience to hit the ground running from day one.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering a play-based, engaging Early Years curriculum
  • Work 1:1 or in small groups to support learning, language, and social development
  • Help with phonics, early number skills, and classroom routines
  • Create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Essential: Experience working in a Nursery or Reception class setting
  • Qualified: a qualification relevant to Early Years Education or Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • A confident, patient, and nurturing approach
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine love for early childhood development
