Job summary

Qualifications

• Recent experience of working with Reception aged children.
• Experience helping children become confident readers, writers and mathematicians.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs, including neurodiverse learners.
• Positive behaviour management strategies and a compassionate/restorative approach.
• Willingness to contribute to school life and the wider community.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching staff in a happy, caring, child-centred environment.
• Assist with early reading, writing and maths activities.
• Support children with additional needs in and out of class.
• Adhere to safeguarding procedures and DBS requirements.
• Engage with parents and the wider school community as needed.
