Job summary

Fallings Park Primary School in Wolverhampton is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join The Wulfruna Partnership. The successful applicant will hold a Level 3 or higher EYTA qualification and will support learning across the EYFS and KS1, including pupils with EAL and SEND.

We are seeking to appoint a committed Early Years Teaching Assistant to work with us. The successful applicant must hold a relevant Early Years Qualification at Level 3 or above. You will need to demonstrate a friendly and approachable manner with excellent communication skills and a passion for working with young people. You will be supporting the learning of pupils, including those with EAL and SEND needs.

The successful candidate will:
  • Work closely with class teachers, support staff, and the school’s leadership team to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality learning across the primary curriculum (EYFS, KS1 and KS2)
  • Provide feedback to class teachers
We are looking for a candidate who has:
  • Level 3 or above Early Years Teaching assistant qualification.
  • Experience working in a primary school or early years setting.
  • A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Experience of supporting pupils with SEND/EAL needs across different year groups.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach.
