We’re working with a friendly, child-led nursery in South Wakefield, looking for a caring and creative Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team. If you know your Tuff Trays from your teddies and love helping little ones take their first big steps into learning, this is the role for you
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting children aged 0–4 with learning through play
Creating a warm, welcoming space where every child feels safe and valued
Helping to plan and deliver fun, EYFS-aligned activities
Supporting social, emotional, and language development
Supporting with care routines and daily nursery life
What we’re looking for:
️ Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent)
️ Experience working in nursery or Early Years settings
️ A calm, friendly approach and loads of patience
️ A team player who’s always ready to get stuck in—yes, even in messy play!
