Job summary

Randstad Education are recruiting an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Runcorn. This role supports children in the EYFS through play-based and structured activities, helping them learn, develop and build confidence in those early education stages.

You will work with the class teacher to create a nurturing learning environment, provide one-to-one and small-group support, and assist with routines, observations and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience with children in EYFS or primary setting.
• Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification or suitable experience.
• Warm, patient and positive approach.
• Understands safeguarding and promoting childrens wellbeing.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.

The Role

Working Within The Schools Early Years Provision, You Will

• Support children across the EYFS curriculum through play:based and structured learning activities

• Help with classroom routines, observations and learning activities
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

Were Looking For Someone Who

• Has previous experience working with children, ideally within an Early Years or primary school setting
• Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification, or has suitable experience
• Has a warm, patient and positive approach
• Understands the importance of safeguarding and promoting childrens wellbeing
• Is reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team
