The role: Early Years Teaching Assistant

Start: September 2025

Contract: Full Time

Interview Type: Paid Trial

Location: Romford, East London

Rate: 90 - 110 per day

Year Group: Reception

At Remedy we are looking for a friendly, exciting and supportive Early Years Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in in Romford, East London. This Early Years Teaching Assistant will require you to support a mainstream Reception class.

The ideal candidate:

• Planning and delivering engaging and stimulating lessons that meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Working closely with the Early Years team and other staff to ensure a smooth transition to Reception.
• Assessing and monitoring the children's progress and development, and providing constructive feedback
• Communicating effectively with parents and carers, and involving them in their children's learning
• Contributing to the school's vision, values, and ethos, and upholding its policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Early Years BTEC Qualification (Level 3)
• Relevant childcare experience (Must be able to provide 2 professional references)
• Enhanced child DBS (Preferably on the update Service)
