This role also involves working within our After-School Club.

Due to Crown Street Primary's location, there is no on-site parking. However, Pay & Display bays are available on surrounding roads, and public transport is accessible, with the school a 7-minute walk from Deansgate Train Station and Deansgate-Castlefield Tram Stop. We also offer interest-free loans for annual travel tickets.

At the Laurus Trust, we provide a cutting-edge SEND provision that positively impacts our pupils. You will play a vital role in enhancing pupils' progress, promoting independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion. We offer comprehensive professional development and dedicated workspaces for staff, along with training focused on SEND issues across our schools.

If you wish to join our Laurus family and make a difference in our pupils' lives, we would love to hear from you.

Roles and Working Patterns

We have 3 roles, each contracted to 30 hours per week + 5 days, on a term-time only basis. Please specify your preferred working pattern in your application. You will mainly work during school hours and will not be required to work during holidays unless specified in your contract. The minimum work commitment is 38 weeks per year.

  • Shift One: Early shift - 7:30 am to 1:30 pm, including support during Breakfast Club, classroom activities, and lunchtime.
  • Shift Two: Late shift - 11:30 am to 5:30 pm, including lunchtime support, classroom activities, and after-school club.
