The SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We seek an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to work with young students with diverse and complex needs (SLD). You will provide one-on-one support, helping students engage with their learning, develop independence, literacy, and mathematics skills. Patience, creativity, and a desire to make a positive impact are essential.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will find high job satisfaction by supporting primary students in building independence and life skills through play and art therapy.

Responsibilities of the Early Years Teaching Assistant

• Assist class teachers to improve pupils' learning and attainment

• Contribute to lesson planning, preparation, and resources
• Encourage participation in learning and extracurricular activities
