Prospero Teaching is looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Teaching Assistant for an Ofsted “Outstanding” Primary school in Ipswich. The school is a popular four‑form entry mainstream Primary School with a supportive Early Years leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff. The position is only open for Level 3 CACHE or NVQ Level 3 or a degree in Childcare/Early Childcare. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS

• January 2026 start
• Duration: until the end of the academic year July 2026 (could extend to permanent, depending on performance)
• Contract type: Contracted to Permanent
• Full time (Monday to Friday)
• £92 – £105 per day* depending on experience
• Hours – 8:15 am – 3:30 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Holds CACHE or NVQ Level 3 or a degree in Childcare/Early Childcare
• Minimum 1 year experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child‑related references that cover at least the last 2 years
