Flourish Education is currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work within an OFSTED rated ‘good’ Primary school in Hereford, to join their team on a long-term basis. The school aims to provide an environment where individuals, both children and staff, feel valued and appreciated.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have experience of supporting classes within the Early Years. You will have a secure understanding of the EYFS, and proven success of acting as a ‘play partner’ to extend children’s learning. The school is seeking a passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant who appreciates the importance of learning through play.
Previous experience of using ‘Tapestry’ or similar software to record children’s observations would be of an advantage, though this is not essential as full training will be provided. You will be working as a Teaching Assistant within a Reception class and must be comfortable in supporting young children with personal care.
We are looking for a passionate and committed Early Years Teaching Assistant for an immediate start. This is a full-time position to continue until the end of the academic year.
This Teaching Assistant opportunity is located in Hereford and is easily commutable from the surrounding areas including Malvern, Ledbury, Leominster, and Bromyard. We work with schools that have onsite car parks or that are easily accessible via public transport.
