Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking an Early Years Educator for a welcoming Islington primary school in North London. The role supports children in the EYFS through play-based activities and routine learning, working with the class teacher and EYFS team.

The ideal candidate has EYFS experience and a relevant CACHE qualification (level 2 or 3 preferred). The position offers a PAYE daily rate of £110–£115 and immediate starts with trial shifts this week.

Are you a passionate and experienced Early Years Educator looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming and supportive primary school? We are working with an amazing primary school based in Islington who are looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their friendly EYFS team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and is passionate about supporting their learning, development and early educational experiences.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working within an EYFS setting, nursery or primary school.
• A CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (preferred but not essential).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Experience supporting children with mixed abilities and varying developmental needs.
• A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive and collaborative team.

The Role:

• Supporting children across the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Assisting with learning activities, play-based learning and classroom routines.
• Providing individual support to children with different abilities and needs.
• Helping to create a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment.
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team to support children's development.
