Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Ashford. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in their early years as they begin their educational journey in a nurturing and structured environment.

About the Role:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, term-time only.
  • Supporting children aged 3–5 with a range of special educational needs including autism, speech and language difficulties, and developmental delays.
  • Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to deliver tailored learning activities.
  • Assisting with personal care, sensory play, and early years curriculum support.
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with young children, ideally in an SEN or early years setting.

  • A strong understanding of child development and behaviour support strategies.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Early Years Educator, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
