Job description

Early Years Teacher - Wythall, Worcestershire

Monarch Education are currently recruiting for an Early Years Teacher to work within a Nursery setting. This role is a full time role in Wythall, Worcestershire and is to start ASAP. The Nursery are able to be flexible with this role and can accommodate to term time only and within school hours. You must be experienced teaching pupils in an Early Years setting and have a strong understanding of Phonics and planning phonic based learning activities. This role is in the Foundation Unit, teaching children who are 3 years old. You must have experience teaching in Early Years as well as QTS to be considered for this role.

Requirements of applicant:

  • Qualified Teaching Status
  • Previous experience teaching children in Early Years
  • Outstanding knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculum
  • Passion for teaching children and achieving results

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality teaching and support for children across the EYFS
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans to promote learning and development
  • Provide regular feedback to parents and deliver parent workshops
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Follow policies and procedures in line with safeguarding and child protection guidelines
