JOB TITLE - Reception/Early Years Teacher

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is seeking an EYFS/Reception Teacher for a Primary school located in Beckenham, BR3.

The school is a well-regarded mainstream primary institution with a supportive senior leadership team. It is experiencing growth and offers training opportunities to all staff.

This position is open to both NQTs and experienced teachers. Depending on performance, the school may extend the contract or offer a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
  • Location: Beckenham, BR3
  • Position: EYFS/Reception Teacher
  • Type of work: Class teaching including planning, preparation, marking, and parent evenings
  • Start date: September 2025
  • Duration: 2 terms until July 2025, with potential extension or permanence
  • Contract type: Temporary
  • Full-time
  • Pay rate: Minimum £150 per day
  • Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • QTS or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of EYFS teaching experience in the UK
  • Recent Safeguarding training (within the last year)
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child DBS registered with the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
  • Two professional child-related references covering the last two years
