Job Description:

At Leader Education, we are seeking an Early Years Teacher to support children within a SEND school based in Amble, Northumberland. The ideal Teacher will have experience working with young people who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and a genuine interest and commitment to helping them reach their full potential. This position is suitable for a passionate, motivated, reliable, proactive, and hardworking individual.

This is a full-time role, Monday-Friday (8.30am-3.30pm), starting after half-term (week commencing 2nd June).

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a current DBS on the update system
  • Be a qualified teacher with QTS
  • Support the development of social and emotional skills
  • Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet students' needs
  • Support young people with diverse needs with compassion and empathy
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with pupils, parents, and staff
  • Be adaptable and committed to meeting diverse student needs
