Nursery – Bright Horizons Finsbury Park Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – Starting from £32,177.60 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Location – Finsbury Park, London

We’re looking for an Early Years Teacher to join our Finsbury Park nursery, which is situated in the heart of Finsbury Park. The nursery offers excellent links to rail, tube and bus stations. The nearest rail and tube stations to the nursery is Finsbury Park underground station (10 minute walk), Finsbury park Railway station (9 minute walk) and Crouch Hill Rail station (9 minute walk). We have buses 210, W3 and W7 that is close to the nursery.

Our Bright Horizons Finsbury Park is Ofsted rated “Good” and is a light, spacious, purpose-built day nursery all on one level the rooms all have direct access to outdoor garden areas.

The Role

As an Early Years Teacher, you will plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all the children to develop and meet their individual needs. You will make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of each child, and ensure the indoor and outdoor environments are consistently stimulating and inspiring for the children.

What we’re looking for

  • Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both colleagues and parents
