Bright Horizons Astley, Astley, Manchester, is hiring an Early Years Teacher to plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps children develop and meet their individual needs. You will plan and assess learning, ensure stimulating indoor and outdoor environments, and build trusting partnerships with colleagues and parents.

Hold QTS, EYTS, EYPS, or a full Level 6 Early Years qualification and comply with safeguarding requirements (DBS).

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
• Strong EYFS knowledge.
• Clear safeguarding/child protection understanding.

Salary – £31,366.40 per annum

We’re looking for an Early Years Teacher to join our Astley nursery.

The Role

As an Early Years Teacher, you will plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all the children to develop and meet their individual needs. You will make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of each child, and ensure the indoor and outdoor environments are consistently stimulating and inspiring for the children.

What we’re looking for

• Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each childSound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both colleagues and parents
