Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status or Level 6 Early Years Qualification required.

Salary: From £27,875 per year

We are looking for a full-time, QTS, EYTS, EYPS, or Level 6 early years qualified Teacher to join our Bright Horizons Leeds nursery, located in the Kirkstall area of Leeds.

What you'll be doing:

  • Planning and developing rich learning opportunities and exceptional care tailored to each child's needs
  • Making accurate assessments supporting the delivery of the key person approach
  • Creating a stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors
  • Building strong partnerships with parents and carers
  • Promoting child welfare, protection, health, safety, and safeguarding
  • Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a positive, safe, and happy environment

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full Level 6 Early Years Qualification
  • Previous experience in the Early Years sector
  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Passion for engaging and fun learning
  • Ability to build trust with colleagues and parents
  • Effective communication skills with children and adults
  • Strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements
