Job summary

A vibrant primary school in Hadleigh is seeking an inspiring Early Years Teacher to cover a nursery/reception class one day a week. The ideal candidate will have a passion for young children's learning, excellent interpersonal skills, and knowledge of the EYFS framework. This is a fixed-term position starting in September 2025, with opportunities for additional days. The school offers a supportive team and a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Experience working with young children is essential.

Are you seeking a teaching position in a vibrant school? We welcome your visit to Beaumont Community Primary School. The Headteacher, who has been in position since September 2016, is keen to appoint an inspiring Early Years Teacher who has the warmth, motivation and commitment to work in our fantastic school. You will be employed for one day a week to cover a nursery/reception class with the opportunity for additional days. You will join our teaching team in September 2025.

You will:

  • be an excellent classroom educator
  • be a teacher with passion for young children’s learning who will inspire and motivate
  • have imagination, motivation and resilience in a nurturing environment
  • have an understanding of the EYFS framework
  • have excellent interpersonal skills that will make you an effective team member and a good communicator with parents/carers
  • have knowledge and understanding of the young learner’s needs.


Our Headteacher believes passionately that school is only a part of the development of young people and that the culturally diverse community around the school has much to offer in children's development.
