Job summary

Bright Horizons Gaynes Park nursery in Upminster is seeking an Early Years Teacher to plan and deliver engaging learning experiences and provide high-quality care for every child. You will assess progress and ensure stimulating indoor and outdoor environments that support development.

The ideal candidate holds QTS/EYTS/EYPS or Level 6 EYQ, has strong EYFS knowledge, and is committed to safeguarding. This role offers a supportive HEART culture, onsite parking, and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Sound safeguarding knowledge and child protection practices.
• Ability to build trusting partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Salary - Starting from £33,467.20 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Teacher to join our Gaynes Park nursery. We are conveniently located with an onsite car park and buggy park, and in close proximity to Upminster station and Upminster Bridge tube.

The Role

As an Early Years Teacher, you will plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all the children to develop and meet their individual needs. You will make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of each child, and ensure the indoor and outdoor environments are consistently stimulating and inspiring for the children.

What we’re looking for
