Job Title: Early Years Support Worker
Location: Across Leeds
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: 90- 110 per day
Start Date: ASAP or September

About Us

Veritas are working with a number of schools across Leeds who are looking for Early Years Support Workers to support 1:1 and in classroom. Some of the children are not accessing full-time education yet so the role will be part-time SEN support and part time in classroom support.

The Role

As an Early Years Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning, development, and well-being of children aged 0-5. You will work closely with early years practitioners and teaching staff to deliver high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities.
  • Foster a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Observe and record children's progress, contributing to their learning journeys.
  • Assist with care routines including mealtimes, toileting, and hygiene.
  • Support children with additional needs, ensuring they are fully included in all activities.

  • A team player with excellent communication skills
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to work on your own initiative

Qualifications and Experience
