A leading public service organization in Redcar is seeking dynamic individuals to join the Family Hub Team to support families with young children. The role involves identifying needs, providing support, and delivering various services to ensure children achieve their health and development potential. Candidates should possess relevant experience and an NVQ Level 3 qualification.
Redcar and Cleveland have been selected to be part of the national Family Hub Programme, jointly funded through the Department for Education and Department for the Health and Social Care.

This role offer an exciting opportunity for dynamic individuals to join our Family Hub Team to support families to access the services they need.
The post holder is an integral member of the team who will identify needs and provide planned support for families with young children to ensure that all children in Redcar & Cleveland achieve their optimum health and development potential and are ready for school.
The post holder will deliver both universal and targeted services through a range of methods including home visiting, evidence-based programmes, and group sessions including child development and parenting.
The post holder will also complete Early Help Assessments and will lead or be part of the team around the family to ensure the appropriate support is provided for families of young children.
You will be required to work flexibly across a number of centres, including working some evenings and weekends (on an agreed pattern), to allow us to extend our hours of opening to be able to support working families.
The post holder will have experience working with families with young children, mainly 0-5 years, good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. They will have some experience in assessing needs and planning packages of support, completing early help assessments, although this is not essential.
They will hold a minimum of an NVQ level 3 in Early Years Educator, Childcare or Children and Young People’s Workforce, or an equivalent qualification.
This post will be based in our West team, covering Grangetown, South Bank and Ormesby Family Hubs.
