Job Description
Based in various locations, you will work full time or part time and on a full year or term time basis. The advertised salary is for full time, full year, the salary will be pro rata for term time and part time vacancies. Please indicate your preference on the application form. Requirements
You will hold or be willing to work towards a Support Worker Qualification within an agreed timescale and be eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council.
Responsibilities
You will contribute to effective early learning opportunities and environments by working as part of a team to support the development of high quality, integrated early years services for children and families.
The Individual
You will have experience of early years provision. You will also have good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, work well under direction, use your own initiative as required, and be an effective team worker who understands the importance of confidentiality. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
