Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Soundwell is seeking a caring and enthusiastic SEND Practitioner to join our team. You will support children with SEND, help identify needs and indicators, and contribute to an inclusive EYFS environment. The role collaborates with the SENCo and nursery team to tailor support for every child.

We offer strong benefits, flexible working, career progression and a salary of £26,437–£30,400 depending on experience and qualifications with regular pay reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with SEND is beneficial.
• An appropriate Early Years qualification is required.
• Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is important.

Responsabilités

• Support children with SEND within the nursery.
• Identify children's SEND indicators and needs.
• Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Collaborate with the SENCo and wider nursery team.
• Build positive relationships with children and their families.
• Support individual learning and development plans.
• Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment.
• Work with parents and other professionals to ensure appropriate support.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence and development.
