Breaside Preparatory School, part of Cognita Schools, is seeking an Early Years Room Leader in Bromley to lead and support a safe, nurturing classroom. You will plan, assess, and collaborate with the Head of Early Years to deliver high-quality early education for children up to age 5.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent) is required.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding responsibilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents and colleagues.
• Calm, flexible approach in a busy environment.
• Confidence in supporting children's wellbeing, development and learning through engaging activities.

As an Early Years Room Leader, you will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive. Working closely with the Head of Early Years and the wider Kindergarten team, you will support the delivery of outstanding early years education through effective planning, assessment, and day-to-day classroom leadership. You will help promote children's learning and personal development, build strong relationships with families, and ensure every child receives the support they need to reach their full potential. This is a permanent, full-time role with a September 2026 start date.
