Job summary

SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting a Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Hackney from September. This full‑time role supports children at a crucial stage of learning and development within a well‑established Early Years team, with a daily rate of £100 rising to £124 after 12 qualifying weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in Early Years or Reception settings.
• Demonstrates understanding of child development and learning through play.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and able to commit to a full‑time position for the academic year.

Responsibilities

• Support children across the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
• Work with individuals, small groups, and the whole class.
• Promote communication, language and social development.
• Support learning through structured play and practical activities.
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive relationships.
• Contribute to outdoor learning activities and child‑led exploration.
• Assist with classroom organisation, routines and transitions.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
