Job Description:

Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our new nursery opening in July 2025.

The primary focus of this role is to support the development and well-being of children, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.

Key responsibilities:
  1. Provide high-quality care and education following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and our curriculum.
  2. Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
  3. Observe, assess, and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues.
  4. Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for children.
  5. Collaborate with team members for smooth nursery operations.
  6. Ensure compliance with safeguarding regulations and nursery policies.
Requirements:
Qualifications and skills:
  1. Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
  2. Experience in a nursery or early years setting is essential.
  3. Strong knowledge of the EYFS.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  6. Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
