Job summary

A local early years care provider in Upton is seeking a part-time Level 2 or 3 qualified Practitioner. In this role, you will support children's development through engaging activities, ensuring a high standard of care in alignment with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Successful candidates will demonstrate strong teamwork and a commitment to child welfare. An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years and Child Care.
  • Experience with the EYFS framework and creating developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Enhanced DBS check is required.

Role

We are looking for a part time, level 2 or 3 qualified Practitioner within Early Years and Child Care. You will work closely with the Nursery Manager and staff to create a safe learning environment for children to develop and grow holistically through their play.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities to encourage development towards key milestones aligned to EYFS Framework.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding.
  • Be caring, hardworking, dedicated and work well within a team.
  • Build positive relationships with children and their families.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Qualified Practitioner in Early Years and Child Care at Level 2 or 3.
  • Experience with the EYFS framework and creating developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Enhanced DBS check is required.
