We are a nursery based in Hertford looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join our committed team.

Salary: £11.60 to £11.90 per hour for Level 2/3 practitioners

Hours of work: Full-time (40/45 hours per week) and part-time positions available

Due to current demand, we are seeking professional, fun, and passionate practitioners who:

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
• Possess knowledge of child development principles and practices
• Can create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Show patience, empathy, and understanding towards children's needs
• Have strong organisational skills to plan activities and manage time effectively
• Are able to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Are flexible to adapt to changing needs and situations in the nursery

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Planning, organising, and implementing age-appropriate activities and programs
• Supervising and engaging children in play and learning activities
• Monitoring the well-being and development of each child
• Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and behaviour
• Communicating with parents and providing updates on their child's day
• Ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the nursery environment
• Following all health and safety guidelines
