Early Years Practitioner Wanted in Southwark!

Milk Education is working in partnership with a nurturing and inclusive school based in the heart of Southwark to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood development who is looking to be part of a dedicated and forward-thinking school community.

About the Role:

Work collaboratively with the class teacher and wider EYFS team to support children aged 3–5

Deliver high-quality play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework

Promote emotional, social, and cognitive development through positive interaction and structured routines

Support children with varying needs, including those with SEND or EAL backgrounds

Maintain accurate observations and contribute to learning journals and developmental records

About You:

Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification (essential)

Previous experience working within a nursery or primary school EYFS setting

A genuine passion for early years education and child development

Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding procedures

Warm, caring, and patient approach with excellent communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative where needed
