Job summary

The Treehouse Forestry Nursery and Out of School Club is seeking a Preschool and Out of School Club Practitioner to support the brand new Long Ridings site and help manage the provision for children with the Manager.

Hours are term-time only, 7:30am–6:30pm, four days a week, with benefits such as free daily lunch, free parking, a pension scheme and CPD opportunities as part of our commitment to staff development.

Qualifications

A level 2 or 3 FULL and VALID Early Years Qualification.

Responsibilities

Be responsible as a key person for your own key children.
To create strong parent relationships.
To deliver a range of exciting and enriching activities and experiences for the children.
To update children's online learning journals with quality observations and routine checks.
Gain a clear understanding of policies and procedures, statutory welfare requirements and Ofsted expectations and requirements and to ensure these are maintained at all times.
To have a clear knowledge of procedures to be followed in case of emergency e.g. fire, lockdown, accident & incident procedures.
To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
To ensure that the Pre-School conforms to and exceeds the requirements of Ofsted.
To uphold and ensure a high standard of care throughout the Pre-School
To implement and maintain the company’s Equality policy ensuring that children, parents and the staff team are valued and practice is positive and non-discriminatory.
To monitor any safeguarding issues following local authority procedures.
